Detail XML Export

Detail XML Export allows you to export your chosen vocabulary concepts with all of the elements and attributes defined in the vocabulary to XML file(s). To export your data to a detail XML format, first choose Detail XML to be the selected template in the Template dropdown menu of Export Manager. After setting the export scope from the Export Scope section of the Export Manger, to use all the default setting for the export, you can click Export button to export your data to detail XML file(s), or you can click the Option button to update the export setting for Detail XML Export.

To change the Detail XML Export setting, click Option button to open the Export Option Window for Detail XML Export as shown in Figure 1.

In the Item box, you will find the list of available elements and sub elements for you to export. You can exclude elements by deselecting the checkbox. Once an element or a sub element is highlighted, the element setting will be listed in the Sub-element and Attribute box. You can include/exclude its attribute for the export by checking/unchecking the attributes. Click here to view the detail XML export schema.

When you satisfy with your export setting, click the OK button to save the changes and exit the option window. The export preview in Export Manager will also be updated to reflect the changes you have made. Click Cancel button to cancel all pending changes and exit the export option window.
