Detail XML
Import
Similar to
Simple XML Import, Detail XML Import allows you to import your
XML format data source into
ConceptChoir, but with great levels of complexity. To
import a Detail XML source, first choose Detail XML to be the selected template in the Template
dropdown menu of Import Manager. After specify the source location from
the Import Scope section of the Import Manger, to use all the default setting for the
import, you can click Import button to import the detail XML
source, or you can click the Option button to update
the import setting for Detail XML Import.
To change
the detail XML import setting, click Option button
to open the Import Option Window for Detail XML Import as
shown in Figure 1.

Elements
Detail XML Import Option is further categorized
into two section: Elements, and
Duplicate Handling. You can switch between these sections by
clicking the corresponding tab located on top of the window.
Figure 1 shows the Elements section.

Elements section controls
your source data setup information settings for the
import. You can exclude any elements or attributes by deselect the checkbox in
front of the element or attribute. Unlike Simple XML Import that
supports only a few elements, Detail XML Import supports all
elements and attributes defined in the vocabulary. Due to its level
of complexity however, you have to use the default tag in your
source file. Here is an
example of what a detail xml import source file look like:

Duplicate Handling
Duplicate Handling section controls actions that handle duplications. As the Figure 2 suggests, you can set various
actions to handler the duplications exist in your data source.
Click the radio button in front of your desired action to
select.
When you satisfy with your import setting, click the
Save
button to save the changes and exit the option window. The
import preview in Import Manager will also be updated to
reflect the changes you have made. Click Cancel
button to cancel all pending changes and exit the report
option window.
