Export
Detail ASCII
Export allows you to export your chosen vocabulary concepts with all
elements and attributes defined to ASCII file(s). To
export your data to a Detail ASCII format, first choose Detail ASCII to be the selected template in the Template
dropdown menu of Export Manager. After setting the export scope from
the Export Scope section of the Export Manger, to use all the default setting for the
export, you can click Export button to export your data to detail ASCII file(s), or you can click the Option button to update
the export setting for Detail ASCII Export.
To change
the Detail ASCII Export setting, click Option button
to open the Export Option Window for Detail ASCII Export as
shown in Figure 1.

In the
Item box, you will find the list of available elements and sub
elements for you to export. You can exclude elements by deselecting
the checkbox, or include them by checking the checkbox in front of
the elements. Once an element or a sub element is highlighted, the
element setting will be listed in the Sub-element and Attribute box.
You can update the element export label, include/exclude its
attribute or update its attributes' tag for the export. You can also set your
Concept break, Group break, Left bracket of unit and Right bracket
of unit
symbols in the bottom of the window.
When you satisfy with your export setting, click the OK
button to save the changes and exit the option window. The
export preview in Export Manager will also be updated to
reflect the changes you have made. Click Cancel
button to cancel all pending changes and exit the export
option window.
