Add Vocabulary

To add a Vocabulary,  click the button in the Vocabulary section (Figure 1) to open the new Vocabulary Definition window as shown in Figure 2.

You can create a "blank" vocabulary and then add definitions later, or you can create a vocabulary using either the predefined template or an existing vocabulary that you have created as a template. Once you set all fields in the Vocabulary Definition Window, you can click the button to open Option Windows as in Figure 3 to include existing Value List and Lookup Table in this vocabulary. As Figure 3 suggested, check the Create check box will include the corresponding Value List or Lookup Table. Checking the CopyDate? option will direct ConceptChoir to copy the existing values to the creating vocabulary for the corresponding Value List, or Lookup Table.

When you finish setting up values for the new vocabulary, click OK button to create the vocabulary and close Vocabulary Definition Window. Click the Cancel button to cancel any pending changes and close the window.

Delete Vocabulary

To delete a vocabulary,  highlight it and click the button in the Vocabulary section as shown in Figure 4. The system will prompt for a confirmation. The process may be repeated until no Vocabulary remains.

Once a vocabulary is deleted, all data defined in the vocabulary will be lost and can not be restored. The deletion process would probably take a long time to finish based on the size of the vocabulary. A progress bar will appear for the process.
